  • Study data: Progress scores, session history, mastery levels, streaks, achievements
  • Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, collected via Google Analytics (GA4)

How We Use Your Data

  • Study plan personalization: Your exam date, progress, and scores power your spaced repetition schedule and readiness score
  • Email communications: Study reminders, exam countdown emails, and product updates via MailerLite
  • Analytics: Aggregate usage patterns to improve the product (GA4, no personal data shared with advertisers)
  • Pass guarantee verification: Study records are used to verify eligibility for the Exam Pass Guarantee

Third-Party Services

Prepdex uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Supabase — Database and authentication (stores your account and study data)
  • Stripe — Payment processing (handles all transactions securely)
  • MailerLite — Email communications (study reminders, onboarding emails)
  • Google Analytics (GA4) — Anonymous usage analytics
  • Netlify — Website hosting

Cookies & Local Storage

Prepdex uses browser local storage (not traditional cookies) to maintain your session and preferences. This includes your authentication token (managed by Supabase), study preferences (exam date, daily study time), and session state. No third-party tracking cookies are set by Prepdex directly. Google Analytics may set its own cookies per its privacy policy.

Data Retention

Your study data is retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all personal data and study records will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@prepdex.io. We will respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of Prepdex after changes constitutes acceptance.
